Strandzuid has multiple multifunctional locations, various outdoor spaces and all the necessary facilities to organize successful, customized events together with you as an organizer! Furthermore, our events team has built up a vast knowledge by facilitating over 300 events per year. The result of the combination of our experienced team and the carefully designed locations leads to an unforgettable experience at a unique event location in Amsterdam.

The Restaurant

Located in the southern half of Strandzuid on the waterfront is the Restaurant. This location is spacious with a large bar and modular furnishings. The Restaurant has a large terrace at the front and a waterfront terrace extending to The Boat House. The Restaurant offers guests lunch, drinks and dinner during the sunny months. The menu is adorned with high-quality dishes that are recognizable to all and appropriate to the season.

The Boat House

The boat house

Our largest event venue is The Boat House, located on the water next to the restaurant. The space has a warm feel and the use of lots of glass gives it a perfect link to the outdoors. The Boat House is in direct contact with the kitchen and has its own flexible bar and toilet facilities. The maximum capacity of The Boat House is 300 people, but in combination with the accompanying terrace we can accommodate up to 500 people. To create even more capacity it is possible to connect The Boat House with the Restaurant by removing the soundproof wall between both spaces. The Boat House terrace can also be combined with the adjacent Jetty Bar.

The Beach House

The beach house

The Beach House is located on the main beach of Strandzuid. It is an intimate space with its own bar for groups of up to 150 people. Combined with the spacious terrace, the maximum number of people can be increased to 250. The indoor venue has a typical summer atmosphere, with playful elements and lots of light. The terrace overlooks the beach and has several umbrellas with heaters. The furniture both inside and outside has a standard layout with several seating areas, but of course it can be adjusted as desired.

The Jetty Bar

As soon as the weather permits, it is time for drinks and barbecues at The Jetty; a bar (with its own kitchen) by the water. This outdoor location will be partially covered with a stylish stretch tent and is the ideal place for team building with colleagues, birthdays with family or Friday afternoon drinks with friends/colleagues. The Jetty bar has an indoor capacity of 150 guests, but can be expanded in combination with the terrace of The Boat House.

The Playground

The Playground is the place for relaxed drinks. Located on the beach, this drinks venue is covered with a stretch tent, has decking and a private side entrance. Like The Jetty Bar, The Playground lends itself perfectly to free mibos, birthdays, graduation parties and other informal affairs with a summer character. The maximum capacity is 80 people.

The Beach Bar

Next to The Beach House's restaurant terrace and beach, is The Beach Bar; an outdoor venue with standalone bar and kitchen. Like The Jetty, The Beach Bar lends itself perfectly to free mibos, birthdays, graduation parties and other informal affairs with a summer character. From the beach, you can easily get a bite or a drink here. Around the bar are large standing tables that can be reserved for drinks, similar to Strandzuid's Beer Terrace.

The Waterfront

Right next to the entrance to Strandzuid and the Restaurant terrace is The Waterfront. The Waterfront is a covered drinks location with a cozy stretch tent and beautiful views over the water. It is a perfect place to have drinks or barbecue with colleagues, friends or family. Food is served from the Beach Bar's adjacent kitchen. The maximum capacity of The Waterfront is 80 people.

The Mip & Martini Lounge

The Water Terrace

Via the jetty you walk across the water to your exclusive location, a floating terrace on the water overlooking the Beatrixpark. A unique location for drinks, dinners, silent disco or a (wedding) ceremony. The terrace is largely covered with a round parasol including heaters. The maximum capacity is 120 persons.
